About us

 

             We are a professional association of Slovak general practitioners that functions as a civic association. Our organization is a regular member of the Slovak Medical Association(SkMA).              The pivotal task of our organization is to organize training for general practitioners. Next XXX. annual conference is going to take place again in Bojnice, 15th till 17th October 2009. 
             We have approx. 1,400 members at present. A Slovak general practitioner in EU can find his/her professional identity in a well-working professional association. For the association’s committee the goal to build such an association in high on the agenda of the day. However to increase reputation of our professional work in society is possible only due to contributions by our active members. Unity of general practitioners plays an important role. We build the association for ourselves and therefore we put stress on the need of professional mobilization of general practitioners clustered in the professional association SkS GP SkMA.
